FAQS

"What kinds of projects do consultants work on?"

CUBE has the privilege of solving some of the most cutting edge challenges faced by high-growth companies. Consultants can expect to work on a wide variety of projects depending on their background and expressed interests. CUBE's unique business and engineering services allow for a diverse clientele with varying business needs.

"How do I prepare for the case interview?"

The case interviews are a close reflection of the actual consulting work we do for our clients, just condensed down to an hour. We suggest reviewing Bain style case interviews and attend our casing workshop! It's always best to keep practicing - either with a friend or by yourself.

"How long do projects last?"

CUBE extends its projects on 12 to 14 week long projects, over the course of a single UIUC semester to maximize our consultants’ potential. Clients may also choose to return for additional semesters with CUBE. Consultants can move projects semesterly.

"Who is involved in a CUBE project?"

Each project team is assigned a project leader, 4-6 consultants, and 1-2 senior advisors. We regularly meet and deliberate with all of our clients to keep our work consistently relevant and as effectual as possible.

"What makes CUBE different from other organizations?"

CUBE has been around for over a decade and has cultivated a small and tight-knit social atmosphere focused on social belonging, hosted a practical, career-oriented development process tailored to help new members achieve professional goals, and fostered diverse consulting experiences with some of the best startups and learning experiences. At CUBE, we truly value transforming your undergraduate experience through lifelong friendships, networking opportunities, personal mentorships, academic resources, and more!
